An honour to win the PRIDE Award

It was a surprise when I heard that I had won the Burton Hospital’s PRIDE Award. I have to stress that this award is not for me alone. I have had such wonderful support from my friends and colleagues at Burton Hospital and Burton Albion Football Club. Special thanks to Sarah Minns who has been by my side throughout our journey to bring health into the community setting. And to the Prostate Cancer Support Group who are doing a wonderful job in supporting people impacted by prostate cancer. Thank you also to Burton Mail for their wonderful coverage of our project and also on the Award itself – I feel honoured.
